Ascent Trip ReportI started up the Tuckerman Ravine trail at around 9:00am. There were a ton of people hiking up at the same time. It only took an hour or two to reach 4200 ft where the tree cover opens up a bit and I was able to get some nice views of Wild Cat and the more distant White Mountains. A little bit higher, the trail splits. The Lion's Head trail runs a steeper angle, while the Tuckerman trail continues along the ravine ridge. I chose the Lion's Head trail and continued on. I reached the summit at around 3:30pm after ~6 hours of hiking. The ascent should have taken much less time, but I got hit with a bout of nausea halfway up, that significantly slowed me down. Luckily, I was able to grab one of the last shuttles down the mountain at 4:30pm, so I avoided having to bivouac or attempt to descend in the dark.
