Ascent Trip Report

I approached Huckleberry Mtn from Hwy 62 turning on FR 60 the Mill Creek Ridge Road. I turned off of FR 60 onto FR 6215 which passes on the west side of Huckleberry and then FR 800 for a short distance up to the saddle on the south ridge of Huckleberry Mtn. I hiked up the forested south ridge to the high point. Some of the route has been recently brushed, so the hiking was fairly easy. There is a rocky outcropping about 100 yards south of the high point indicated on the topo that appears to be a couple feet higher. There were no views from the summit because of the forest.
