Ascent Trip Report

Hiked along the ridgeline from viewpoint. Frigid in the morning, nice by noon. 5.5 hours roundtrip.

I was hiking in the wallowas the previous day and hurt my knee descending off of hurricane divide so that put the kibosh on my planned ascent of Elkhorn Peak. I knew Kigermann would be a nice easy going ridgewalk so I drove to the other corner of Oregon to do some hiking down in this area. Watched a great sunset from the Steens Central Viewpoint and camped at Fish Lake.
