Ascent Trip ReportAfter finishing up the last of 18 towers in the Adirondacks yesterday, I headed south today to start my Catskill towers and try to finish this FTC before school starts up on Wednesday. What a difference between Adams and Red Hill. I was at the summit in 30 mins and stayed there for a while enjoying the large grassy area with the picnic tables and open ranger's cabin. Tower was also open with a pair of binoculars inside to get a better view of the surrounding area. Balsam Lake Mt. can easily be seen to the north, so I'll probably head there next. 19 down 4 to go.
