Ascent Trip Report***Private Outing***
Outing was to join Jim and Winnette as they completed their WTC experience trip requirements. We packed in up shortcut to Windy Gap and then along PCT to Mt. Hawkins. Camp set up on south side of Hawkins along ridge top and then XC down ridge to Copter Ridge. Constant 20 mph winds blew all night bringing temperature with wind chill down into the mid-30's (via Kestrel). Tanya and I packed out Sunday morning while Jim, Winnette and Stella hiked out to Middle Hawkins and South Mt Hawkins.
