Ascent Trip ReportI accessed Peak 5300 from Dead Indian Memorial Road and the Shale City Road. I turned onto the Lake Creek Road and took the first left to get to the north side of Peak 5300. I parked, then hiked along cow trails and grassy areas under a forest cover. No views from the summit. The old growth on the summit had been logged many years ago. Impressive stumps. It was raining.
