Ascent Trip ReportTook the old trail from Mink Hollow (Tannersville) up to the intersection by the lean-to with a 3500/AMC group. We followed the trail up from there. It was short and very easy. Nails in the dead tree on the summit (was there a summit sign?). Ate lunch on the view overlooking the Shawangunk ridge and Southern Catskills. Ashokan HP was prominent and Peekamoose, Table, Slide, and the other high peaks were visible. It was just clear enough to make out Smiley Tower on Skytop with the naked eye.
