Ascent Trip Report

The final peak in my 13'er blitz from the Atwood Lake USFS Admin site. While I was up bagging peaks, Duane was cleaning trash and campfire rings around Lake Atwood. The talus slope to Roberts Lake was surprisingly stable, so I took it down from the summit to Roberts Lake as the quickest route back to camp near Atwood. Extra elevation is from heading over Roberts Pass on our way out of the Atwood area into Chain Lakes and down to the trailhead.
