Ascent Trip Report

From the Loft, the hike became much more challenging. Downclimbing around the Palisades into the coulior was slow and methodical, but aside from a couple of spots where careful routefinding was required, was fairly straightforward. Coming up from the upper part of Keplinger's and finding the proper route was easy thanks to the numerous cairns. Rocks falling down from above was the greatest danger, and necessitated alertness of any sounds of falling rock. Once out of the coulior it was simply battling the crowds on the Homestretch, and the summit was attained.
