Ascent Trip ReportIf Dave hadnt mentioned it, I would have gone right by on way to McConnell. Accessed from ridge with Red Peak. This peak looked more like a bump on the ridge between Red and McConnell peaks. Register dates back to late 80s and includes entries by Pete Yamagata and other well known hikers. Summit is quick 5 minutes straight up from start of descent to lake on east side of col with McConnell Peak. Lake isnt shown on maps, but appears permanent.
