Ascent Trip ReportSolo climb.
Drove Woody (1983 Town & Country Wagon) from Burien crashpad. Had to go all the way to Snoqualmie Summit visitor information center to get day pass from forest service. ($5.00) Started hiking from trailhead at about noon. Made it to the top in 2 hours, 4 minutes; down in 1:21. Met and talked with forest ranger "Glen" at the lookout tower on top. He showed me how to use the sighting device to locate forest fires. Great view of Cascades from Mt. Adams to Mt. Baker, and of the Olympics too.
