Ascent Trip Report

The USGS map does not show the trails from Slate Pass. The maps we had were wrong (in several ways). We should have turned down the "Middle Fork Tr" but our maps showed another fork further along the "Buckskin Ridge Tr" - this later fork does not exist on the ground.

By the time we returned to the correct path the rain had set in and we decided to come back another time.
