Ascent Trip Report

After not hiking for a month, this probably wasn't the best hike to start back with, but Jim had a 1/2 day and the rest of our weekend was booked so we decided to find a short hike on a Friday afternoon. Didn't get started until 2:30 and some dark clouds were moving in. Felt a few raindrops at the beginning but that was it - we finished in beautiful sunshine. A steep but short hike but lots of fun scrambling up the rocks. My favorite type of terrain. Would have loved to grab the Kinsmans but we didn't want to attempt descending those rocks using headlamps. Love this trail!
