Ascent Trip ReportEarly in the season my friend and I went up to Baring, we started up an avalanche chute then got cliffed out, down climbed a bit, was able to traverse some, climb some more, weaving our way back and forth eventually making the ridge. From the ridge you are supposed to descend and pass under an outcrop but at the time didn't know and couldn't find a safe way up. It had taken about 4 hours and there was still a long way to go and so we decided to eat lunch and enjoy the view and go back. Going down we figured out the way we were "supposed" to go, making it a lot easier and faster for the next trip up.
