led by Mars Bonfire, Kathy Cheever-Bonfire, Mark Allen
Took Palm Springs Tramway to shortcut route through Tamarack Valley and then up the east side of Jean Peak. Intense altitude sickness forced Mark Allen back down after summiting Jean. Cross country southwest from summit of Jean to Marion Mtn. Real fun Class 3 scramble to summit block on Marion. Mileage and gain is estimated and includes both Jean and Marion and includes trip back up Jean on our way out.
