Ascent of Seymour Mountain on 2010-08-02| Date: | Monday, August 2, 2010 | | Ascent Type: | Successful Summit Attained | | Peak: | Seymour Mountain | | Location: | USA-New York | | Elevation: | 4091 ft / 1246 m |
Ascent Trip ReportWe saw and spoke with Tony Goodwin, editor of the 13th edition guidebook, during the majority of this hike. That was a treat, he has mad knowledge and was a great guy. The hike wasn't bad at all, slightly blood-pumping. Gorgeous views from the ledge right below the summit. Long day, 9 hours hiking, 14mi.
