Ascent Trip Reportparked on Caribou Valley Road after taking left fork then encountering a big washout about .5 miles short of the pond.To Spaulding over bridge at pond, left at major branch(knee high grass) then first right onto old logging road that turns into large log yard - can be seen clearly on google earth. At east end took clear path (old log road?)headed east, at point where it started to descend took a bearing aimed at the AT and hit it in about .2 mi. followed up to top. Back down same route then up redington by normal path. met two hikers who complete the 100 NE highest on Red, complete with champagne. total time from truck to truck - 6:20
