Ascent Trip Report

I accessed Peak 5114 from Dead Indian Memorial Road and good forest service roads. I parked just west of the summit at a little saddle on the road. The forest is nice here with lots of big trees and some brush also. I hiked crosscountry eastward towards the summit. As I approached the summit area a big rocky area (40ft high?) loomed out of the forest that looked like it might be a technical rock climb. I went left off the ridge and found an easy way up to the top of the rocks from the back side. I think the high point is a rock under a little tree sitting back from the rocky face that I saw from below. I walked out to the rocky point anyway. No views from the summit.
