Ascent Trip ReportI accessed Chinquapin Mtn from the road between Hyatt Lake and Hwy 66. Good roads up to end of road not far from the power lines. Hiked up through second growth planting about 15-20 ft tall. Then brushier on the ridge through an older forest. Unremarkable rocky summit with no views except a window looking at Mt Shasta.
