Ascent Trip ReportPresi Traverse was a success! A great day - we started from Dolly Copp campground via Daniel Webster Scout trail up to Madison. Fog and high winds at the top of Madison looked to threaten our trip, but we carried on. Adams was also foggy, but less windy as we took Star Lake Trail up. Jefferson too was foggy, but not too windy. We had glimpses of views all morning in the cols between the peaks. Stopped for lunch on Jefferson. Made it to Washington a few hours later - busy up top, despite high winds and fog. From Washington on out across the southern presis, we were below the clouds. Nice views all around, and clouds broke up by Eisenhower. Great trip - 14 hours on the dot!
