Ascent Trip Report

My son, Ryan and I hiked up to Summit Lake and set up camp on the 16th. The next morning we headed up to the summit then back down to break camp and head back to the trailhead. Was a great trip other than the mosquitos that were swarming and kept us in our tent pretty much the whole time. Ryan was 12 at the time and did really well on the hike up. Biggest delay was a water crossing - should have used the tree upstream rather than trying to hop across rocks and then having to change socks and dry out boots.
