Ascent Trip ReportI lead Mt Abraham/Ellen hike today and 6 people joined (Ed, Dan, Chris, Christina, Bill and Claire). We car spotted at Jerusalem Trailhead (left 2 cars) and we drove 2 cars to Loncoln Gap. We started hike around 9:15AM. We got to Mt Abe about an hour or so on LT North (2.6 miles). As we had rain one day before, rocks were very slippery and I slipped both foot and fell down on the rock completely at the beginning of the hike. We took a breat at the Mt Abe's summit but we'd just had very thick fog and couldn't see so much unfortunately. We continued hike to Lincoln Peak, Nanck Hanks Peak, Cutts Peak and Mt Ellen. Around the summit of Mt Ellen, we just saw carn only on LT, there is no view at all. We continued hike on LT North, then, took Jerusalem Trail to pick up our 2 cars this morning. We completed hike around 3:15PM, so total duration of the hike was around 6 hours which is 1 hour earlier than Book Time.
