Ascent Trip ReportGreenhorn Mountain at 12,347 ft. is the highest point of Pueblo County, Colorado, with county seat Pueblo. It is in the Wet Mountain Range east of the Sangre de Cristo Range, which contains a number of higher 14ers and 13ers. The hike southeast along a grassy tundra ridge was very pleasant and gave great views. I returned by dropping off the grassy ridge to the south and east to interset the Old greenhorn Mtn. road, and had a nice walk back on it to the trailhead.
