Ascent Trip ReportMike and I started our backpacking hike from Caribou Pond Road from ME 27. From Caribou Pond Rd, we hiked about 0.9 mi to get to Crocker Cirque Campsite and dropped camping gears(tent, sleeping bag, pad, stove and so on), then, continued hike to South Crocker on AT north. It was easy hike up to the summit of Mount South Crocker. we completed this hike within 2/3 of book time on Maine Hiking GuideBook by AMC.
