Ascent Trip Report

Hiking mates heard that Snow Mountain (Chain of Ponds -3960 ft) hike is easy one. We suddenly decided to grab this summit in the afternoon after we completed the easy hike to Snow-Cupsuptic.

We knew how to get to the trailhead, but, we were not prepared enough to understand trails. One of us told that we just need to follow "yellow arrow sign" which was NOT totally correct. We went to wrong direction and wasted 50min. After checking GPS and mountain locations, we took different path by ignoring "Yellow arrow sign". We eventually reached to the abondoned fire tower at the summit of Snow Mtn. This easy-looking hike gave us warning that we should have well prepared any kind of hike before we get to the trailhead. :-)
