Ascent Trip Report

Drove through a steady rain to reach a rather unattractive looking state high point. It's a pretty part of the country but the area directly around the state high point has mine activity, radio towers, industrial machines etc. Oh well, I'm glad they allow access so we can reach the KY HP. This was my 22nd state HP. Rained the entire time I was there. No hiking required--I parked my car on the summit.
