July 1 - still a lot of snow covering most of the trail.

We reached the trailhead a 9:30 pm and started hiking at 10pm.
We climbed 1,700 ft and camped on the col about 1am the next morning.

We started at 6am and hiked mostly over snow to the top.
A sliver of 40-degree snow on the east side, enabled us to climb the final 60ft to the summit summit
without any rock climbing equipment.

Descending, we got lost in the foggy/dizzeling conditions
but reached camp safely and eventually reached the car after
16 hours on the move.
