Ascent Trip ReportTook the snowmobile trails from Platte Clove. Met two guys who were coming down and told them where to find the plane crash on the peak. They immediately ran back up the North ascent and found it. I followed and encountered them again near the peak. They had been scared off the South route by the chutes below Hurricane Ledge. Went to the views and ate lunch before heading down by the South route which was interesting to say the least. The cairn was even bigger than I'd expected. I added to it. The nettles were unbelievable. Took the bushwack back from the lower plane crash site and continued to Huckleberry Point before heading back to the trailhead.
