Ascent Trip ReportNo access issues. We came in from Ant Mtn and then past Sugar Lake and continuing on on these low use roads until we reached the saddle S of the peak near where the word MOUNTAIN appears on the map. We tried to get up the roads on the E slope to get a little closer to the peak but they were muddy so we bailed back to the saddle. Someone had clearly driven a 4WD up the ridge recently and then further on there were ATV tracks too. Anyway, don't do that. It's nice easy open hiking with a fair amount of lupine and no real brush. Hooray for that. Simple. The summit is reasonably pronounced for the sort of peak it is.
