Ascent Trip ReportOvernight climb of Adams. Road snowed in at 4800'. eft car at 4:30 and climbed to South Butte first evening for camp at 7,600'. On the trail at 3:30 am next morning, reached lunch counter 9,300' at 5:15, skinned until 10,200'when I switched to boot campons and tossed Dave my ski crampons. Reached the top of Piker's Peak 11,440' at 7:55 am. Hung out at Pikers for a while to give the sun time too work it's magic on the snow, then pushed on to the true summit at 12,220 at 9:30. Skiied down fast and furious and was at the camp by 10:30am. Packed up and was on the road by 1:30pm after some questionable skiing through the many tree wells.
