Ascent Trip ReportBegan Sabaday Brook and followed trail to the intersection of Pyramid Loop between North and Middle Peak. The climb to the ridge was a steady increase in elevation. Once over the draw, the trail follows the contor lines back and forth til the last 500 meters or so, this is where it got tricky. The remaining climb is about 70 degrees of rock face with scrub pine roots to help climb, It was tough but REALLY great. There were some trees down in this section which made it difficult to pass under/over with a full pack on. Took about 6/7 hrs to reach summit after going to Middle Peak first. The whole ridge was covered with snow pack with clearings here and there. Camped out and headed down Pine Bend back to the Kanc. I didn't like the idea of going down Sabaday, thought it may be a bit dangrous, to each his own.
