Ascent Trip Report

Interesting enough we ended at the top of this Mtn, we had planned a trip out here to just hike up Mt. Garfield but instead we parked at the wrong Parking lot and hiked up the wrong Mtn. We had forgotten the maps in the car so we decided the hike wouldn't be worth it if we didn't hit both Gale head and Garfield so we ventured over to the other and back to the truck, 15.3 miles TOTAL! longest loop EVER! this hike up to Gale head its just meant for bagging it, NO VIEW at all, if your trying to join the club (4,000 footers) then you got to do it but i wouldn't recomend this hike to others, although the Gale head hut about 1/4 mile away is Awesome! best hut iv'e seen so far a great hike and a great day for it.
