Ascent Trip Report

Had a great Hike up. Still lots of snow on the trail up. But it was the warmest day of our Montana "summer" Followed the skin track up from the lake it got pretty steep. I was worried about wet slides but everything was stable. Kicked my way up over the cornice and made my way to the peak. Down climbing was a little scary, I took off my gloves for better traction in case of a slide for life situation and my hands where froze by the time I got down. I turbo hike down to the trailhead to get out of the sun, still got real sunburned.
