Ascent Trip ReportI drove up the jeep track shown on the topo's on the north ridge of Freds Mtn. I drove around a locked gate at the bottom follwoing a quad track. This jeep track is not bad driving, but it is narrow and it is 4WD in spots. I finally stopped about 1/2 mile from the summit where the road made about a 100ft dip before going back up to the summit. Easy hike to the summit on a beautiful day.
