Ascent Trip ReportThis was my third visit to the trailhead. Others times I was turned back by weather (rain, then snow). Today I turned west prematurely -- wound up in a dense clump of rhododendron plants -- looked at my map and figured out I was south of the summit -- headed north -- and was confronted by the South Face of Rockhouse! It wasn't difficult, but it was impressive when first confronted. If you park at parking lot for Lake Welch -- park in Field #1, which is at the end towards Route 106, instead of in Field #3, where I did.
