Ascent Trip Report

Took a boat over from St Kitts. Hiked up from the town following the trails till we reached a sign saying welcome to Mazinga. It was clear that this was not the highest point .. we hiked another 15-20 minutes and looked around for about 15 min to find a marker. Using the GPS I found what I believed was the highest point .. turns out there was a marker hidden under a huge bromiliad plant on top of the rock. The hike was great luch vegitation we caught land crabs, a red belly racer snake and saw hundreds of hermit crabs .. the view into the crater is very nice.
