Ascent Trip Report

Hiked with my buddy Lance that I worked with at Sequoia NP. Walked from Round Meadow to Bearpaw, Hamilton Lake, Precipice Lake, Big Arroyo, Morraine Lake, Kern River Hot Spring, Guitar Lake and then to the summit. As I recall we started the summit push at 3am or so. We were sill on the East side of the ridge at sunrise. Ran into some kids that we had been leap frogging with since the Kern River camp site. They camped at the summit inside the hut - must have been quite cold. Caught up with them again in Lone Pine for beers.
