Ascent Trip Report

All of the usual passes to get from Cottonwood Lakes up to the plateau south of Langley were heavily corniced. After failing to succeed on a new route the day before, we tried another route this day. This time the route worked! We went up the ridge between Long Lake and Cottonwood Lake #3 - it was pretty straightforward. It seemed like a really long slog along the plateau to Langley though. The snow was very soft and the postholing was miserable. Unfortunately, we'd gotten a late start and just ran into our turnaround time before we got to the summit. We made it back down the ridge route just before dark.
