Ascent Trip ReportSee my report for High Tor. From its summit, the Long Path continues west along the ridge for almost 1 1/2 miles to a junction with a wide white-blazed trail to the right. Follow this short trail to the summit of Little Tor, crowned by twin bumps of seemingly equal elevation. Great view with a different angle from that of High Tor, worth the additional hike IMO.
The NY-NJ Trail Conference map of the NY section of the Hudson Palisades shows the trail, although the L.P. trailhead has been relocated since my 1991 edition was printed. It also has a nice drawing of the summit view that identifies the many peaks visible from there.
