Ascent Trip ReportFrom the junction of Routes 49 and 449 in the hamlet of Gold, go SE for 1.2 miles and turn right (SW) onto Rooks Road. As you turn onto Rooks Road, see a sign posted by the Potter County Visitors Association with a description of the triple divide point and its significance. Proceed 0.8 miles on Rooks to the junction with Kidney Road. The triple divide point hill is equidistant from the two roads, and I opted for the short field walk from the continuation of Rooks. Very neat location, albeit an unassuming hill. The aerial photo, especially the hybrid version on Acme Mapper, is more useful than the topo.
