Ascent Trip ReportPicked up Trev at 6AM and high tailed it to the ASRC in Wilmington, where we met up with Big Pete. Imagine that, a chemistry major, and ChemE, and a MechE all go hiking together, what do you think they talked about? Forecast was warm with a 100% chance of science! Took the old marble mountain ski trail up. It kicked our asses. That is what happens when only one person in your group is in shape! Finally got to the top, and reached the Esther turnoff after a while. The plan was to do Whiteface too, but it was getting late. Found some old sheds and foundations of the old T-bar. After we finished, we jumped in the Ausable River and ended up at the Pub.
