Ascent Trip ReportGreat hike and great views of the Uncanoonuc Mountains and Joe English Hill! The Pinnacle is on the way to Rose Mountain and the trail head leading to both of these peaks is on the left-hand side of Mountain Road in Lyndeborough, just after you pass Cummings Road. It's easy to miss and the only thing identifying the trail head are two signs saying not to park between them, which are across from someone's house. We didn't see the signs at first but realized we went too far after a few minutes of driving, and easily saw the signs when we back-tracked down Mountain road.
The trail up was surprisingly well maintained and very pretty. We had warm clear weather to start the day and were quickly rewarded with nice views from the top.
