Ascent Trip Report

I accessed Peak 4740 from Hwy 140. I drove up road 2815 first to a saddle on the east side of the highpoint and then followed a lesser road along the south side of the peak to a saddle on the west side of peak. I parked and hiked up an old logging road to near the summit. The summit is a little ways off the logging road and the summit has been logged. It is kind of flat on the summit, but I walked around looking for the highest point. I think it was a rock in a bush. It hailed on me a little on this hike.
