Ascent Trip ReportEasy ridge whack from Braintree gap through typical? Vermont woods, in this case probably more atypical, a month from now it will probably be a fern whack, but now the just starting to pop ferns along the mostly sub 3K ridge with the delayed growing season at elevation, it resembled more like large areas of weedy lawns or mown fields, and with rogue red blazes thrown in on some of the trees.
