Ascent Trip ReportA nice hike this morning. Went by myself, leaving the end of Santa Anita road and my car at 8:20am. I hiked the Gabriellino (sp?) trail up to Stuverent (sp?) Falls. Absolutely beautiful! The falls and all the other manmade falls were flowing nicely. I continued up to Spruce Grove and up the Mt. Zion trail to the summit. From the summit I went down the other side, taking the Mt. Zion trail to the Upper Falls Trail, making a nice loop. All told I think it was about 9.5 miles, and I was back at the car at 11:00am, with plenty of stops for photos along the way.
