The easiest way to the summit is to take Point Mountain Road uphill 0.6 miles from its junction with Musconetcong River Road/CR-645 to a well marked trailhead and parking for two vehicles. This yellow-blazed, excellent trail is the Overlook Trail and quickly gains the summit ridge and ends at its junction with the orange-blazed Ridge Trail. Follow the Ridge Trail to the right (NE) less than 1/10 mile to the summit. Fine views along the ridgeline to the west, over Musconetcong Valley.
