Ascent Trip Report

We arrived at the trail head much later than we had hoped sometime around 8. The climb up was a pain as we followed a trail that led us straight up a scree field. Although it was slow going on our way up, the descent down it was quite possibly the fastest decent I have ever made, as we cruised through the soft terrain at high speeds, getting back to the trail head at noon and back to Vegas in time for a nephew's birthday! ;)
