Ascent Trip ReportI was out for a snowboarding trip to Whiteface mountain that day. We got there and found out that the lifts we closed due to high winds.
After scewing around in the snowboard park for a while, I decided that I didn't drive out for nothing and wanted a run from the top.
Board in hand, sporting snowboard boots, I began my climb up the icey slopes of Whiteface mountain.
Made it to summit in 2.5hrs.
Ended up getting 2 free passses out of it with my picture on the summit time stamped for proof :)
