Ascent Trip ReportSolo hike on Ampersand Mountain. Couldn't have asked for a better day, clear blue skies and mild temperatures made for great picture taking. The trail is on very enjoyable grade for quite some time, passing over several small brooks. You cross a bog over long board bridge which is very unique. Enjoyed a nice lunch and listened to NOAA Weather Radio on my Garmin Rino, as it came in crystal clear at the summit. A great little mountain with views of some nearby high peaks.
