Ascent Trip ReportIt's hard to get any lamer than this. Especially for a prominent peak on public land. We approached from the N on road 2902. No gates and the road was good although a few drainage berms might call for high clearance. Upon reaching the juction at 1420' where the road turns from S to W we were faced with a berm so we walked from there. At first the road was fairly good for a mile or so. After that it became progressively more overgrown. Culverts have been ripped. The road rolls a bit too. At the 1477' junction we took Road 2924 heading SSW. A glimpse at the continuation of road 2902 down towards Coal Creek and then Forks indicates that this is long abandoned and likely an even worse option. The 2924 road got worse but was still passable. We crossed a few creeks and then once due E of the peak we head up a ridge towards the peak. Old growth with a little brush and some blowdown. Not too fun, not too bad. Eventually we got to the flat summit and returned. This peak is a loser though not particularly tough.
